Tomoko Ueyama was born in Japan in 1972. He studied at the International Academy of Media Arts and Science (IAMAS), where he also received the MA degree. His work has been shown in numerous exhibitions in Japan and internationally. He received Honorary Mention Award in the category of Interactive Art at Ars Electronica 2000.
