The program of Gibanja 2026 has been announced
The sixth edition of the international experimental sound festival Gibanja will take place from 17 to 21 May at KONTEJNER and Pogon Jedinstvo in Zagreb. The so-called zero day of Gibanja, Sunday 17 May, is free of charge and begins at 5 pm in front of KONTEJNER with the "Sound Walk through Cvjetno Naselje" by Hrvoslava Brkušić, continuing at 7 pm at Pogon Jedinstvo with the pre-opening program and the performance by Peter Kutin & NAMES "SKYFALL", brought by KONTEJNER in collaboration with the Subversive Festival as a joint gift to the audience. All participants interested in the "Sound Walk through Cvjetno Naselje" are kindly asked to bring a mobile phone and headphones.

Selected artists for the EMAP residencies in 2026.
The European Media Art Platform (EMAP) has announced the selection of 15 artists for its 2026 residency programme. Out of a total of 643 applications from across Europe, the artists and collectives were jointly selected by the partner institutions during the jury conference held at the MEET Digital Culture Center in Milan, held from 1 to 3 April 2026.

KONTEJNER's curator Davorka Begović at MENT conference
KONTEJNER's curator and musicologist Davorka Begović is taking part in this year’s edition of the MENT Showcase Festival in Ljubljana, where she will moderate a conversation with Mo Dafa (UK), curator and programme director of the iconic London concert venue Cafe OTO – one of Europe’s most important venues for experimental and avant-garde music, as part of the conference programme. The festival is taking place in Ljubljana from 18 to 21 February 2026.
